Bamdad Falahati received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran in 1999 and 2008 respectively. From 2004 to 2008, Bamdad was with Moshanir Co. as an R&D Engineer. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at Mississippi State University in 2013.

His research interests include substation automation systems, smart grids, distribution grid management and micro grids.

Saher Albatran received his B.Sc. degree in Electric Power Engineering from Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan, in 2005 and the M.Sc degree in Electric Power and Control Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Irbid, Jordan, in 2008. He was an instructor in the Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Tafila Technical University, Tafila, Jordan. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at Mississippi State University in 2013.

His research interests include modeling, simulation and control of electrical machines and dynamic systems.
